WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (8-1) finished its pre-holiday schedule with an 87-67 victory against Hunter (3-5) Dec. 10 at Wightman Pool.

Lauren Horowitz (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) was one of three double winners, touching first in the 500 (6:01.42) and 1,650 (20:26.5) frees. Sophomore
Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) won the 200 IM (2:28.37) and 100 breast (1:13.49), and senior
Caitlin Rotondo (Brick, N.J./Methacton) posted victories in the 50 (26.41) and 100 (58.88) frees.
Senior
Giana Albruzzese (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) finished first in the three-meter dive (194.40), junior
Tara Graham (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) touched first in the 200 free (2:14.84), and sophomore
Stephanie Smith (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) won the 100 fly (1:08.42).
Donna Balagtas (Clifton, N.J./Clifton), Kuchin, Smith and Rotondo won the 400 medley relay (4:36.99), and
Taylor McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn), Graham, Smith and Mendoza finished first in the 400 free relay (4:10.22).
The Pioneers will return to action Wednesday, Jan. 20, at home against Queens at 6:00 p.m.
