WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team improved to 4-1 this season with a 115-89 victory against Lehman (0-4) in front of a packed house on Parents Appreciation Day Nov. 14 at Wightman Pool.
Junior
Tara Graham (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) won the 100 back (1:09.12) and turned in a personal-best time of 2:12.56 to touch first in the 200 free. Senior
Caitlin Rotondo (Brick, N.J./Methacton) won the 50 (26.89) and 100 (59.63) frees, and classmate
Lauren Horowitz (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) touched first in the 500 (5:57.11) and 1,000 (12:10.09) frees.
Sophomore
Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) finished first in the 200 IM (2:27.70) and the 100 breast (1:13.56). Senior
Christine Sullivan (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley Regional-Old Tappan) was the winner of the one-meter dive (181.85), while classmate
Giana Albruzzese (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) won the three-meter (200.85). Sophomore
Stephanie Smith (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) finished the Pioneer sweep with a win in the 100 fly (1:08.22).
William Paterson will compete at Arcadia Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 6:00 p.m.
