Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) had the swim of the meet, posting a winning time of 1:04.48 in the 100 fly as the William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (7-1) defeated Drew (1-4) 100-83 on Parents Appreciation Day Dec. 6.

Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) was a double winner, placing first in the 200 IM (2:27.4) and 100 breast (1:15.0), while senior
Grace McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) touched first in the 50 free (25.68) and 100 back (1:03.7). Senior
Cathy Hartwell (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) won both the 100 (56.7) and 200 (2:08.3) frees, sophomore
Lauren Horowitz (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) touched first in the 500 (6:02.5) and 1,000 (12:09.1) frees, and junior
Giana Albruzzese (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) finished first in the one-meter (149.7) and three-meter (163.3) dives.
William Paterson will return to action Thursday, Dec. 11, at Hunter at 6:00 p.m.
