BRONX, N.Y. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team (4-1) won every event as the Pioneers earned a 127-73 victory at Lehman (0-3) Nov. 13.
Five double winners paced the Pioneers. Sophomore
Lauren Horowitz (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) posted personal-best times in the 500 (5:55.37) and 1,000 (12:12.76) frees, while freshman
Brett Kuchin (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) won the 200 IM (2:27.74) and 100 breast (1:13.40). Senior
Grace McKay (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) touched first in the 50 free (25.69) and 100 back (1:02.12), senior
Cathy Hartwell (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) won the 100 (57.00) and 200 (2:06.89) frees, and junior
Giana Albruzzese (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) took first place in the one-meter (171.60) and three-meter (186.30) dives. Freshman
Lesly Mendoza (Passaic, N.J./Paramus Catholic) added a victory in the 100 fly with a personal-best time of 1:04.95.
William Paterson will return to Wightman Pool Wednesday, Nov. 19, against Arcadia at 6:00 p.m.
