WILKES-BARRE , Pa. – Goals by junior Meghan Hall (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.) and freshman Ashley Reamer (Maple Shade, N.J./Maple Shade) gave the William Paterson field hockey team (2-1) a 2-0 victory at Wilkes (1-1) Sept. 5.

The Pioneers got on the board just 4:15 into the opening half when Hall struck the back of the cage unassisted. William Paterson later added the second goal at the 49:59 mark of the second period Reamer scored her first career goal off an assist from Jodi Feriod (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro).

William Paterson finished with a 12-8 advantage in shots on goal and an 8-2 edge in penalty corners. Pioneer goalkeeper Christina Auger (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) posted the shutout by stopping all eight shots she faced.

The Pioneers will return to action Saturday, Sept. 8, with a home game against RPI at 2:30 p.m.
