WAYNE , N.J. – Junior Amanda Kurdyla (Denville, N.J./Morris Knolls) became the Pioneers' all-time career goals leader, notching the lone score in the William Paterson women's soccer team's (6-3, 2-2 NJAC) 1-0 victory at Rowan (8-2, 3-1 NJAC) Sept. 29.

Kurdyla scored her 42nd career goal off an Aly Ruddy (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) pass in the 36th minute, eclipsing the mark set by Meg Renna from 1996-2000 (41). Kurdyla also is moving her way up the career points list (97), just eight behind the top mark established by Renna (105).

Junior goalkeeper Caitlin Kiernan (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) made one save in 27:40 before being forced out of the match due to an injury. Sophomore Meaghan Baker (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) played the final 62:40 and was not forced to make a save.

The Pioneers will play at Centenary Monday, Oct. 1, at 3:30 p.m.
