Kurdyla Ties Record, WP Wins in Double OT, 1-0

Junior Amanda Kurdyla tied the WP career goals record (41) with her score in a 1-0 double-overtime win at FDU.

MADISON , N.J. – Junior Amanda Kurdyla (Denville, N.J./Morris Knolls) tied the William Paterson women's soccer career goals record as the Pioneers (5-2) earned a 1-0 double-overtime victory at FDU-Florham (4-4) Sept. 22.

Kurdyla finished an Amanda Fabiano (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) pass in the 105 th minute for her 41 st career goal, matching the mark set by Meg Renna from 1996-2000.

Junior goalkeeper Caitlin Kiernan (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) played the first half in goal, making three saves, while sophomore Meaghan Baker (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) entered at halftime and made five stops.

The Pioneers will host Ramapo Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 4:00 p.m.
