MADISON , N.J. – Four defensive saves by the Rangers helped keep the William Paterson field hockey team (4-2) off the scoreboard in a 1-0 Drew (5-1) victory in Madison Sept. 13.

The Pioneers could not find the back of the cage, as four of their shots were snuffed off the line by Drew's defenders, and six more were stopped by Ranger goalie Stef Rutkowski. Drew's goal came in the 28th minute, an unassisted strike by Jen Schoepflin.

William Paterson sophomore Christina Auger (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) made seven saves in goal.

The Pioneers will return to action Wednesday, Sept. 19, at FDU-Florham at 7:00 p.m.
