WAYNE , N.J. – Top-seeded William Paterson (13-6) will host fourth-seeded Montclair State (13-6) in the ECAC Field Hockey Mid-Atlantic Tournament semifinals Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m.
The winner of the WP-MSU semifinal will face the winner of the Stevens Tech-FDU semifinal in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic championship game Sunday, Nov. 11, at a time and site to be determined.
William Paterson advanced to the semifinals thanks to a 1-0 victory against visiting Catholic Nov. 7, while Montclair State defeated fifth-seeded Drew 2-0 Nov. 7 at MSU. Earlier this season, the Pioneers defeated the Red Hawks 3-1 at Montclair State (Oct. 2). William Paterson finished third in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) standings with a 4-2 record, while MSU was fourth with a 3-3 mark.
