Pioneers Lose at Elizabethtown, 1-0

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The William Paterson men's soccer team (7-6) fell at Elizabethtown (10-2), 1-0, Oct. 6.

Michael Terry scored his fourth goal of the season off a crossing pass by senior Mike Helsel at 22:56, and the Blue Jay defense stood tall the rest of the way in recording their fourth consecutive shutout victory.

Elizabethtown finished with an 11-4 advantage in shots over the Pioneers and took two corner kicks to one by William Paterson.

Senior goalkeeper David Casper (Franklin, N.J./Timothy Christian) made four saves for the Pioneers.

The Pioneers will next play at The College of New Jersey Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 3:00 p.m.
