STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Junior Amanda Kurdyla (Denville, N.J./Morris Knolls) became the program's career points leader as the William Paterson women's soccer team (7-7) rolled to an 8-0 victory at the College of Staten Island (8-7) Oct. 16.

With four goals and an assist at CSI, Kurdyla brought her career points total to 106, one better than the previous record of 105 set by Meg Renna (1996-2000). Already the Pioneers' career goals leader (46), Kurdyla also set a single-season record with her sixth game-winning goal of the year, and is one shy of matching the school single-season goals record of 16.

Freshman Drea Wagoner (Little Falls, N.J./Passaic Valley) added two goals and a pair of assists, junior Kelly Bray (Whippany, N.J./Whippany Park) scored her first career goal, freshman Vikki Cicak (Wharton, N.J./Morris Knolls) scored her third goal of the year, and Natale Buongiorno (Northvale, N.J./Northern Valley-Old Tappan), Jessica Reibis (Jackson, N.J./Jackson) and Alyssa Tinari (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) each added an assist for the Pioneers.

William Paterson goalie Meaghan Baker (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) was not forced to make a save in the match, as the Pioneers outshot the Dolphins, 34-1.

William Paterson will host No. 3 The College of New Jersey Thursday, Oct. 18, at 3:30 p.m.
