GLASSBORO, N.J. (SEPTEMBER 23, 2006) -- William Paterson traveled to Rowan University as both teams began conference play. The Profs won, 1-0, in overtime.

Rowan's Rachel Cheafsky knocked in a pass from forward Amanda Greene at the 81:26 mark in overtime.

The Profs out-shot the Pioneers 13-6, but William Paterson's defense held strong through 82 minutes. Defensive standouts included Ashley Allison, Jodi Feriod, Tina Londino, Amie Shannon and goalkeeper Grace Browne. Londino recorded a defensive save for the Pioneers early in the game while Browne made 11 saves in the cage.
