Boka Too Much for Centenary in 5-1 Win

Melissa Boka had five points in a 5-1 win against Centenary.

WAYNE, N.J. (SEPTEMBER 18, 2006) -- Senior forward Melissa Boka (Hamilton Township, N.J./Steinert) tallied two goals and an assist as the Pioneers won their  fourth straight match, a 5-1 victory over Centenary College on Monday.

Boka now has five goals and two assists in the last two games for the Pioneers (4-2), who have outscored opponents 23-6 thus far.

The Pioneers got on the board 8:39 into the match on an own goal by Centenary.  Boka had the assist on the second goal as she crossed the ball to freshman midfielder Jess Reibis (Jackson, N.J./ Jackson) who scored at the 15:40 mark which proved to be the eventual game winner.  Sophomore forward Amanda Kurdyla (Denville, N.J./ Morris Knolls) capped the first half scoring at 19:59 on an assist from Senior back Caitlin Higdon (Denville, N.J./ Morris Knolls).
