WAYNE, N.J. (NOVEMBER 6, 2006) – The William Paterson field hockey team (12-6) has qualified for the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Tournament, and will play at Catholic (12-7) in the first round Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 2:30 p.m.

The fifth-seeded Pioneers will take on the fourth-seeded Cardinals in Washington, D.C., with the winner advancing to the semifinals Saturday, Nov. 11, against the winner of the Montclair State-FDU Florham first-round game. The ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournament final will be contested Sunday, Nov. 12. Game times, opponents and sites will be announced as the teams advance.
