Pioneers Fall at No. 8 TCNJ, 4-1

Amanda Kurdyla collected the Pioneers' goal in a loss to No. 8 TCNJ.

EWING, N.J. (OCTOBER 19, 2006) - The William Paterson women's soccer team (7-5-2, 3-3-1 NJAC) fell 4-1 at No. 8 The College of New Jersey (10-1-2, 6-0-1 NJAC) Oct. 19.

Sophomore Amanda Kurdyla (Denville, N.J./Morris Knolls) put the Pioneers on top less than two minutes into the match when she blocked a clearing attempt and the ball redirected into the empty net. But, that 1-0 lead would not last, as the Lions scored in the seventh and 19th minutes.

Freshman Jessica Reibis (Jackson, N.J./Jackson) made 11 saves for the Pioneers in 81:16 of work. Kurdyla played the remainder of the match in goal, making two stops.
