HOBOKEN, N.J. (OCTOBER 18, 2006) -- The William Paterson field hockey team (10-4) won its fourth straight game, a 2-1 victory at Stevens Tech (9-6) Oct. 18.

Sophomores Katie Jo Cipriani (Thorofare, N.J./West Deptford) and Meghan Hall (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Twp.) gave the Pioneers a 2-0 lead with a pair of unassisted scores within a 4:38 span early in the second half. Senior Grace Browne (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) made three saves for the victorious Pioneers.
