WAYNE, N.J. – Softball senior third baseman Meghan Reilly (Middlesex, N.J./Middlesex) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week March 23.

Reilly hit .579 (11-19) last week with five doubles, six RBI, seven runs scored, an .842 slugging percentage and a .579 on-base percentage. She was 2-for-2 with a double, two RBI and a run scored during a 10-0 win against Framingham State March 16, and on March 18, she was 1-for-3 at the plate with a double against Carthage, and was a perfect 3-for-3 while driving in a run and scoring twice herself in a 9-0 victory against Trinity. She plated two runs and scored once herself, part of a 2-for-4 effort during a 7-3 win against Smith March 19, and she finished the day by going 3-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored in a 5-4 victory against Utica. For the season, Reilly is hitting .500 (15-30) and has compiled five doubles (one in each of last five games), eight RBI and 12 runs scored.
