WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball junior guard Manny Perrotte (Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Dec. 8.

Perrotte scored all 12 of his points off the bench during the second half, helping the Pioneers fight back from a 10-point deficit to defeat Rowan 48-45 Dec. 6. His three-pointer and layup pulled William Paterson within three (32-35, 6:28), and two more baskets twice tied the contest (39-39, 3:08 and 41-41, 2:25). Perrotte, who added two rebounds and a pair of assists, led the Pioneers in scoring despite playing just 20 minutes.
