WAYNE, N.J. – Football junior quarterback Matt Marshall (Burlington, N.J./Burlington City) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week Sept. 22.

Marshall completed 21 of 32 passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns as the William Paterson football team defeated U.S. Merchant Marine, 21-13, Sept. 20. He threw touchdown passes of 74, 32 and 11 yards in his first start as a Pioneer, helping William Paterson earn its first victory of the year.
