Limone became the Pioneers’ single-season (32) and career (90) stolen bases leader against John Jay April 23. Currently with 36 steals this season and 93 for his career, he ran his hitting streak to 13 games last week and had his stolen-base streak halted at 16 games at Richard Stockton April 26. Limone batted .391 last week as the leadoff hitter with eight runs scored, three RBI, a double, six walks and eight stolen bases, and also had a .968 fielding percentage at shortstop (one error in 31 chances). He was 3-for-6 with three runs, a RBI and two steals at No. 10 RPI April 22, and was caught stealing for the first time in 29 attempts. Limone then had a pair of hits in each of the Pioneers’ games at Richard Stockton April 26, and tallied a double, one RBI and a stolen base.
