WAYNE, N.J. – Senior outfielder Mike Rowe (Cedar Grove, N.J./Cedar Grove) was named the May 1 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Rowe was 7-for-13 (.538) with a double, run scored and three RBI during four games last week, adding two walks and a sacrifice fly. He went 2-for-3 with an RBI April 27 at No. 16 The College of New Jersey, and 3-for-4 while posting a double and RBI April 28 against the Lions. During an 8-6, 4-3 doubleheader sweep of Rowan April 29, Rowe finished 2-for-6, scored a run and drove one in as WP twice rallied late for victories.
