WAYNE, N.J. – Softball junior outfielder Kara Molnar (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) was selected as the April 3 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
Molnar hit .538 (7-13) during a 4-0 week for the Pioneers, contributing two doubles, one triple, three RBI and four runs scored while compiling an .846 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage. She went a combined 3-for-6 with a double, triple, RBI and run during an 8-0 (six innings), 8-0 (five innings) sweep of Drew March 30, and finished a combined 4-for-7 while adding one double, two RBI and three runs in a 13-1 (five innings), 4-0 sweep at Stockton April 2.
