WAYNE, N.J. – Football junior defensive lineman Omar Mahmoud (Morganville, N.J./Marlboro) was selected as the Sept. 26 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Mahmoud ranked second for the Pioneers with 11 tackles Sept. 24 against Kean. Five of those were solo stops, and he registered 2.5 tackles for a loss and 1.0 sack.
