WAYNE, N.J. – Softball junior shortstop Rachel Wasilak (Livingston, N.J./Livingston) was selected as the March 14 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Wasilak hit .857 (6-7) with a double, two RBI and a run scored as WP started its season with a pair of victories March 13. During a 3-0 win against Endicott, she was 3-for-3 with an RBI and run scored, and in a 4-3 victory against Westfield State, she finished 3-for-4 with an RBI-double.
