WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball senior guard Bright Mensah (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack) was selected as the Jan. 11 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.
 
Mensah contributed 22 points and a team-best nine rebounds and five assists Jan. 6 at Kean. He then became the 29th player in WP history to reach the 1,000-point plateau, finishing with 24 points, 11 rebounds and four steals Jan. 9 against Rutgers-Newark.
