WAYNE, N.J. – Senior defensive end Pat Thomas (Lodi, N.J./Lodi) was named the Sept. 8 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Thomas paced the Pioneer defense with nine tackles during WP’s 36-20 season-opening victory at Maritime Sept. 5. Six of his stops were solo, and he registered 0.5 tackle for a loss.
