WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s basketball senior guard Floriana Borova (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) was named the Feb. 10 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Borova contributed 16 points, two assists and four steals to a 72-47 victory Feb. 6 against Rutgers-Newark, then became WP's career assists leader (418) during a 76-68 win at New Jersey City Feb. 8. She had a game-best nine assists and a team-high 22 points against the Gothic Knights, and surpassed the top assists mark of 416 set by Michelle Jones (1987-91).
