WAYNE, N.J. – Field hockey senior forward Brianne Cox (Bronws Mills, N.J./Pemberton Twp.) was named the Nov. 4 William Paterson Pioneer of the Week.

Cox became the Pioneers' single-season goals leader with her hat trick during a 7-0 victory at Western Connecticut Oct. 29. She increased her league-leading goals total this season to 20, moving past Lesley Ann Dube (19, 2001) and Krista Hinshillwood (19, 2003) to the top of the WP list. Cox also had two assists against the Colonials.
