WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball junior infielder Rich Guillod (Closter, N.J./Northern Valley-Demarest) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for May 6.

Guillod hit .538 (7-13) for the Pioneers during the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament, contributing two home runs, six RBI, four runs scored, a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage.  During a 6-1 victory April 30 against No. 26 Ramapo, he was 3-for-5 with a homer, two RBI and a pair of runs scored, and he finished 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored May 2 against Rowan.
