WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball junior first baseman/catcher Trevor Haughney (Old Bridge, N.J./Old Bridge) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for March 25.

Haughney hit .474 (9-19) during a 4-1 week for WP, adding two doubles, three walks, three RBI and four runs scored while posting a .545 on-base percentage and a .579 slugging percentage.  He was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored during a 7-1 victory March 18 against Springfield, and went 2-for-5 with a double and run scored March 20 against Babson.  Haughney finished 3-for-5 and crossed the plate once in a 10-3 win March 22 against Endicott.

William Paterson (9-3, 0-0 NJAC) will visit Stevens Wednesday, March 27, at 7:00 p.m.
