WAYNE, N.J. – Women’s swimming freshman Gabrielle Porcaro (Belleville, N.J./Belleville) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Dec. 3.

Porcaro won the 500 (6:13.96) and 1,000 (12:48.32) frees during a 101-65 victory Nov. 28 against St. Joseph’s-Long Island, and she touched first in the 500 (6:09.77) and 1,000 (12:46.31) frees, both personal-best times, during a 104-93 win Dec. 1 at Purchase.
