WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s basketball freshman guard Gabriel Paul (Hillside, N.J./Hillside) was named William Paterson’s Pioneer of the Week for Nov. 19.

Paul was named to the Vassar Tipoff All-Tournament Team after averaging 10.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.5 steals pr game during his first collegiate action. He was one of two Pioneers in double figures with 10 points against Emerson Nov. 16, and he ranked second for the Pioneers with 11 points in a 64-35 win against Baruch Nov. 17.
