WAYNE, N.J. – Junior volleyball outside hitter Amanda Morales (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for Sept. 10.

Morales averaged 3.71 digs, 1.24 kills and 0.59 ace per set last week.  She posted nine kills and nine digs during a 3-1 win against Brooklyn Sept. 4, and contributed 16 digs and four aces to a 3-0 win at Lehman Sept. 6.  On Sept. 8, Morales had match bests of 24 digs and six aces, adding five kills, in a 3-2 win against Mount Saint Vincent, and registered 14 digs against Cedar Crest.
