WAYNE, N.J. – Football senior wide receiver Kareen Moon (Staten Island, N.Y./Susan E. Wagner) was named William Paterson’s Male Pioneers of the Week for Oct. 15.
Moon became the Pioneers’ all-time receptions leader, catching his 138th career pass in a 21-13 loss to No. 24 The College of New Jersey Oct. 13. Moon, who already owns the Pioneers’ career receiving yardage record (1,990), caught five passes for 45 yards against the Lions. Also ranked third nationally in kickoff return average (38.1 yards/return), he returned a kickoff 49 yards against TCNJ, and three punts for a total of 37 yards.
