WAYNE, N.J. – Men’s soccer freshman back Joe Strawman (Ringoes, N.J./Hunterdon Central) was named William Paterson’s Male Pioneers of the Week for Oct. 8.

Strawman helped anchor a Pioneer men’s soccer defense that allowed just one goal in 180:00 of action last week. He helped lead William Paterson to a 2-0 shutout victory at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Oct. 3, and a 1-0 loss at Elizabethtown (10-2) Oct. 6.
