WAYNE, N.J. – Softball freshman designated player Jessica Warner (Runnemede, N.J./Triton) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for May 9.

 

Warner hit a team-best .429 with a double and three RBI during the NJAC Tournament. Her pinch-hit sacrifice fly scored the only run in a 1-0 victory against Ramapo May 3, and she went 1-for-3 with a RBI-double, driving in the go-ahead run during a 2-1 win against Montclair State May 7. Warner was 2-for-3 and drove in WP’s only run against The College of New Jersey May 7.
