WAYNE, N.J. – Baseball freshman third baseman A.J. Flores (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) was named the William Paterson Pioneer of the Week for March 21.

 

Flores hit .400 (10-25) with five runs, four RBI, one double and a triple during six games played at the Greater Phoenix (Ariz.) Invitational last week. He also had three sacrifices for a .400 on-base percentage and a .520 slugging percentage. Flores was 2-for-5 with two RBI, a double and two runs scored against Western New England March 14, and he went 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored during a 10-8 win against Springfield March 17.
