Frankie Colasante (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) was named the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association (NJCBA) Division II/III Co-Rookie Pitcher of the Year, joining junior outfielder
AJ Flores (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) and senior left-handed pitcher
Tim O'Shea (Oak Ridge, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) on the NJCBA All-State First Team.

The 2013 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Fireman of the Year, Colasante was 2-1 with a league-best .148 opponent batting average and six saves (48th in Division III). Second in the conference with a 1.69 ERA in 13 relief appearances, he struck out 17 hitters and walked 12 in 26.2 innings overall. Colasante had a 1-0 record, six saves, a 0.00 ERA, 10 strikeouts and four walks in 16.1 innings and seven appearances against NJAC opponents during the regular season. He was selected as the April 10, April 24 and May 1 NJCBA Division II/III Rookie Pitcher of the Week, and was a three-time NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honoree (April 8, April 22, April 29).
A first-team all-NJAC Selection, Flores led the Pioneers with a .381 average (fourth in league), 61 hits (third in conference), 40 runs scored (tied-second in NJAC) and 19 stolen bases (seventh in league), adding a .449 on-base percentage (sixth in conference) and 26 RBI. A starter in 39 of 40 games, he tallied seven doubles, two triples and a home run, drew 22 walks (ninth in NJAC) and collected two sacrifice hits, three sacrifice flies (tied-ninth in league) and 75 total bases (tied-10th in conference) while not making an error in 79 total chances (74 putouts, five assists) in the outfield. Additionally, he was first in runs/game (1.00) and ranked third in hits/game (1.53) and seventh in steals/game (0.48) in the conference statistics. During NJAC regular-season action, he compiled a .378 average, .432 on-base percentage, nine stolen bases, five doubles, 14 RBI and 13 runs scored in 18 contests. Tenth in WP career history with 45 career steals, he has started in 115 of 120 appearances as a three-year Pioneer, compiling a .335 average, 20 doubles, eight triples, 77 RBI and 115 runs scored.
An honorable-mention all-conference selection, O'Shea led WP with a 6-1 record in seven starts and 11 appearances, compiling a 1.79 ERA (fourth in conference), one save, a .189 opponent batting average (third in NJAC), a complete game and 49 strikeouts (tied-eighth in league) in 60.1 innings. Sixth in victories in the conference, in five regular-season appearances and four starts against NJAC foes, he was 3-1 with a 2.30 ERA and a save, striking out 26 in 31.1 innings and compiling a .163 opponent batting average. During two seasons as a Pioneer, O'Shea was 12-2 with a 2.81 ERA in 13 starts and 21 appearances, collecting a save and 96 strikeouts in 121.2 innings.
Fondacaro, who earned a spot on the All-NJAC Second Team, posted a .319 average, 11 doubles (tied-ninth in league), 34 RBI (fifth in conference; 0.87 per game, sixth in NJAC), a .417 slugging percentage and 19 runs scored while starting in 37 of 39 appearances, primarily behind the plate. He threw out 15 of 62 potential base stealers (.242) while compiling a .976 fielding percentage. The March 11 NJAC Player of the Week, against league foes Fondacaro hit .329 while staring all 18 regular-season games, collecting seven doubles, nine RBI and eight runs scored. During four seasons as a Pioneer (2009-10, 2012-13), Fondacaro started in 97 of 109 appearances, hitting .282 with 25 doubles, 65 RBI and 56 runs scored.
A first-year Pioneer, Guillod hit .360 (10th in conference) with a team-high 42 RBI (first in NJAC), .452 on-base percentage (fourth in league), .603 slugging percentage (third in conference), 12 doubles (tied-fifth in NJAC), five home runs (tied-third in league), 82 total bases (tied-fourth in conference) and four sacrifice flies (tied-third in NJAC) while chipping in three triples (tied-third in league), 13 steals (tied-10th in conference), 24 walks (sixth in NJAC) and 26 runs scored in 37 starts at third base and shortstop. An honorable-mention all-NJAC selection, Guillod ranked first in RBI/game (1.14, 40th in Division III), fourth in homers/game (0.14), sixth in doubles/game (0.32), tied for seventh in triples/game (0.08), eighth in walks/game (0.65) and ninth in steals/game (0.35) in the league statistics. The March 25 ECAC Metro and NJAC Player of the Week, he compiled a .299 average, six doubles, two homers, 19 RBI and nine runs scored during 18 NJAC regular-season contests.
A transfer from County College of Morris, Haughney was an honorable-mention all-conference honoree who ranked third among the everyday WP players with a .345 average, adding nine doubles, a home run, 17 RBI, 26 runs scored and a .444 slugging percentage while starting in 37 of 38 appearances, primarily at first base. During NJAC regular-season play, he hit .299 in 18 starts, chipping in three doubles, a triple, four RBI and 10 runs scored.
Pasternak started in 32 of 38 appearances, giving WP innings at shortstop, second and third base. He hit .320, posting five doubles, three triples (tied-third in conference; 0.08 per game, tied-seventh in league), eight sacrifice hits (tied-ninth in NJAC), two sac flies, 14 RBI and 18 runs scored. As a three-year Pioneer, Pasternak has started in 45 of his 72 appearances, hitting .308 with 10 doubles, four triples, 25 RBI, 36 runs scored and 12 sacrifice bunts.
The April 15 NJAC Rookie of the Week, Garguilo paced the Pioneers with 13 sacrifice hits (tied-second in conference, fifth in Division III), adding 11 stolen bases, 13 RBI, 25 runs scored and a .273 batting average.
Miller was 3-1 with a 3.43 ERA on the mound, starting in one of his nine appearances. In 21.0 innings of work, he registered a save, 12 strikeouts and 12 walks. During five appearances and one start during NJAC regular-season play, he was 3-0 with a 1.98 ERA, striking out seven in 13.2 innings.
William Paterson finished the 2013 season with a 27-13 overall record and a 13-5 mark in conference play, advancing to the third round of the NJAC Tournament.
