From West Jersey/Pennsylvania (Rt. 80 East)
Follow Rt. 80 East to Minnisink Road exit. Go to the end of the exit and make a left. Go to the next corner and make another left onto Vreeland Avenue. Go to the end and make a right onto Riverview Drive. Follow Riverview Drive to Valley Road. Make a right onto Valley Road (there will be a golf course on your right). Follow Valley Road to Ratzer Road (approx. 2.5 miles). Make a right onto Ratzer Road. Continue on Ratzer about 1.5 miles to intersection of Ratzer Road and Hamburg Turnpike. Go straight through the intersection and William Paterson University will be on your left.
From Rt. 23 North/South
Take Alps Road/Wayne exit (from Route 23 North, exit directly onto Alps Road; from 23 South, proceed to stop sign and make a right onto Alps Road). Proceed approximately 1.4 miles to second light at intersection of Alps Road and Nellis Drive. Turn right onto Nellis Drive. At next light, turn left onto Valley Road. Continue on Valley Road approximately 1.6 miles to second traffic light at Ratzer Road (enter right-hand lane). Turn right onto Ratzer. Continue on Ratzer about 1.5 miles to intersection of Ratzer Road and Hamburg Turnpike. Go straight through the intersection and William Paterson University will be on your left.
From Northern New Jersey via Garden State Parkway/Rt. 80 West
Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 159, Rt. 80 West. Proceed on Rt. 80 West and take exit 55A - Union Blvd. Go off the exit and make a right. Go through the light and make a right, follow to the end. Make another right, you'll pass over Rt. 80 and make the first left onto Vreeland Ave. Go to the end and make a right onto Riverview Drive. Follow Riverview Dr. approximately 1.5 miles and make a right turn onto Valley Road. Follow Valley Rd. approximately 2.5 miles and turn right onto Ratzer Road. Continue on Ratzer about 1.5 miles to intersection of Ratzer Road and Hamburg Turnpike. Go straight through the intersection and William Paterson University will be on your left.
From South Jersey via Garden State Parkway
New Jersey Turnpike North to Garden State Parkway North (Exit 11). Follow Parkway North to Exit 153B (this exit will be on your left, marked Rt.3/Rt.46). Get off this exit and that will put you on Rt. 3 West. Rt. 3(West) will merge with Rt. 46 West. Follow Rt. 46 West past Wendy's, Holiday Inn, Eye Care...get into the right lane and start to look for the shopping center that has Bob's Store and Applebee's in it. Make a right when you see the sign for Riverview Drive/Wayne. Go up the ramp to the light. Make a left. Go to the top of the hill and make a right onto Riverview Drive (Home Depot will now be on your left). Follow Riverview Drive approximately 1.5 miles to Valley Road. Make a right onto Valley Road. Follow Valley Rd. approximately 2.5 miles and turn right onto Ratzer Road. Continue on Ratzer about 1.5 miles to intersection of Ratzer Road and Hamburg Turnpike. Go straight through the intersection and William Paterson University will be on your left.
From Northern New Jersey via Rt. 287 South
Rt. 287 to Rt. 23 South towards Wayne. Begin to look for Fuddruckers and take the first exit past the restaurant (Ratzer Rd./Service Rd. - jughandle). Cross the highway, then proceed north on the service road to the Ratzer Rd. exit. Proceed on Ratzer Road. Say in the left-hand lane and at the light, make a left onto Alps Road. Go to the next traffic light and make a right onto Hamburg Turnpike. Go to the seventh traffic light and make a left onto Pompton/Ratzer Road. William Paterson University will be on your left.
From Central New Jersey via Rt. 287 North/Rt. 208 South
Take Rt. 287 North toward Morristown to exit 59. Keep right to take 208 South via Exit 59 toward Franklin Lakes. Take the Ewing Avenue exit toward Franklin Lakes. At stop sign, make a right onto Ewing Avenue. Proceed to end of Ewing Avenue. Turn left onto High Mountain Road. Continue approximately 1 mile to fork. Bear right onto Belmont Avenue and proceed approximately one mile to first traffic light. Turn right onto Overlook Avenue and proceed up hill to University Entry #6.
From Rt. 208 North
Take the Ewing Avenue exit toward Franklin Lakes. At stop sign, make a left onto Ewing Avenue. Proceed to end of Ewing Avenue. Turn left onto High Mountain Road. Continue approximately 1 mile to fork. Bear right onto Belmont Avenue and proceed approximately one mile to first traffic light. Turn right onto Overlook Avenue and proceed up hill to University Entry #6.
