DANBURY, CONN. – William Paterson senior outside hitter Erin Roach (Clark, N.J./Union County Vo-Tech) was selected as the Sept. 14 ECAC Metro Region Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Also the Sept. 12 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Volleyball Player of the Week, Roach averaged 4.71 kills and 4.86 digs per set during a 2-0 week for the Pioneers while compiling a .452 hitting percentage. She collected 14 kills, 14 digs and a service ace in a 3-0 win Sept. 8 against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, and had 19 kills, 20 digs and an ace during a 3-1 victory Sept. 10 against Mount Saint Vincent. Roach currently is second among all conference players in hitting percentage (.360) and kills/set (4.00), and rates fourth in digs/set (4.62).
 
WP (4-2, 0-1 NJAC) will visit Purchase Thursday, Sept. 15, at 7:00 p.m.
