WP's NCAA Tournament Central Page INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – William Paterson (20-7, 13-5 NJAC) has garnered an at-large bid to the 2015 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament and will host the first and second rounds Friday and Saturday, March 6-7, at the Recreation Center.

The Pioneers will play SUNY Cobleskill (17-10, 13-4 NEAC) in one first-round game March 6 at 7:30 p.m., and No. 9 Virginia Wesleyan (23-5, 13-3 ODAC) and John Carroll (20-6, 15-3 OAC) will square off in the other first-round contest at 5:30 p.m. The two winners of the first-round games will face each other in the second round March 7 at 7:00 p.m. at WP.
All William Paterson students with valid ID will be admitted for free, courtesy of the Division of Student Development. Ticket prices are $6.00 general admission, $3.00 for students, senior citizens and children. The doors to the facility will open 60 minutes prior to tip-off on each day.
The Pioneers are making their 16th NCAA Tournament appearance overall (1975, 1977, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2012, 2015) and their ninth trip under the direction of 20th-year head coach
Jose Rebimbas, including spots in the 2001 national championship game, the 1999 Final Four and the 2006 Elite Eight. This marks the third time in the last six years that WP will serve as a host for first- and second-round games (2010, 2012, 2015).
The Pioneers are coming off a 65-61 loss at No. 21 Stockton (22-5) Feb. 27 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament championship game.
A 2014 and 2015 second-team all-NJAC selection, senior 6-2 guard
Sandy Burgos (Fort Lee, N.J./Fort Lee) is contributing a team-high 17.5 points per game (fourth in conference). A member of the All-NJAC First Team as well as the Dec. 15 and Jan. 26 NJAC Player of the Week, junior 6-6 guard/forward
Terik Bridgeman (Harlem, N.Y./Nia Prep) is averaging 15.5 tallies (10th in conference) and team bests of 7.4 rebounds (third in NJAC) and 1.7 blocked shots (second in league) per game. Junior 6-4 guard
Bright Mensah (Hackensack, N.J./Hackensack), the 2015 NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, is posting 10.5 points, 5.5 boards and a team-high 2.3 assists per contest, while senior 6-3 guard
Jaques Conceicao (Massama-Lisboa, Portugal/Francais Charle Lepierre) is averaging 8.1 tallies, 4.9 rebounds and a team-best 1.6 steals (sixth in NJAC) per game.
