Floriana Borova (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) repeated as a member of the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Basketball First Team, and senior forward
Dana Jeter (Hamilton, N.J./Steinert) garnered a spot on the All-NJAC Second Team for the second straight year, the league office announced Feb. 25.
Borova was a member of the 2012-13 All-NJAC First Team and the 2011-12 All-NJAC Honorable Mention. She leads the NJAC with 20.4 points (26th in Division III) and 3.3 steals (19th nationally) per game, adding 5.0 assists (second in league, 39th in Division III) and 5.9 rebounds while starting 24 of 26 contests. She became WP's career assists (440) leader Feb. 8, and the career steals leader (310) Feb. 22. Also fourth in Pioneer history with 1,669 career points, Borova is fourth in three-pointers made (1.8 per game), fifth in free-throw percentage (.741, 120-162) and sixth in assist/turnover ratio (1.0) in the league statistics, and has compiled 25 double-digit scoring games (11 20+; two 30+), three double-figure rebounding totals, one double-digit assists game, one double-figure steals total, four double-doubles and one triple-double this season. In 107 career games (86 starts), she is averaging 15.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.9 steals per contest, and has had 79 double-digit scoring games (29 20+; six 30+), six double-figure rebounding totals, three double-digit assists games, one double-figure steals total, eight double-doubles and one triple-double.
Jeter is posting 11.4 points, 2.7 assists, 2.4 steals (eighth in conference) and a team-leading 8.8 rebounds (seventh in league) and 1.9 blocks (second in NJAC) while starting 23 of 25 contests this season while posting 15 double-digit scoring games, 12 double-figure rebounding totals and 10 double-doubles. During 110 career contests (101 starts), Jeter is averaging 8.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.1 steals and 1.2 blocks per game, registering 43 double-digit scoring games (three 20+), 36 double-figure rebounding totals and 23 double-doubles.
Third-seeded William Paterson (17-9, 13-5 NJAC) will play at second-seeded The College of New Jersey Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the NJAC Tournament semifinal round at 7:00 p.m.
