CAPE COD, MASS. – Already selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, William Paterson senior forward Michelle Marabondo (Kenvil, N.J./Roxbury) garnered the same award for the ECAC Metro Region Sept. 11 after an 11-point effort for the Pioneers.

Marabondo scored WP's second goal of a 2-2 double-overtime draw at St. Joseph's-Long Island Sept. 5, and contributed a hat trick and an assist to a 5-2 victory against Hartwick Sept. 8 in the Mayor's Cup.  She also scored during a 3-2 loss at Oneonta State Sept. 9, earning a spot on the Mayor's Cup All-Tournament Team.  Marabondo has collected 16 points (7 g, 2 a) in five matches so far this season.

William Paterson (1-2-2) will play its home opener Wednesday, Sept. 12, against Centenary at 5:00 p.m.
