PITMAN, N.J. – William Paterson senior Voyta Karas (Brno, Czech Republic) was selected as the Nov. 2 New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Karas won the 50 (22.11) and 100 (50.29) frees during a 114-93 victory against Baruch Oct. 29. He also was an individual triple winner at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational Oct. 31, touching first in the 50 (22.29), 100 (49.04) and 200 (1:53.43) frees as WP won its third straight MSMC Invite title. Karas also helped lead the 200 medley relay team to a victory in a time of 1:45.86.

William Paterson (1-1, 0-1 NJAC) will visit SUNY Maritime Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 6:00 p.m.
