WAYNE, N.J. – For the second straight year, William Paterson senior midfielder
Jodi Feriod (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro) was selected to the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-South Atlantic Region Second Team, the group announced Nov. 16.
Feriod earned first-team all-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) accolades for the second straight year after starting in all 18 games this fall and registering 15 points (6 g, 3 a) to rank fourth for the Pioneers in scoring. She provided the game-winning goals in back-to-back victories to open the 2009 season (3-2, Muhlenberg, 9/1/09; 2-1, RPI, 9/5/09), and she ranked tied for ninth in game-winning goals in the conference statistics. During her four-year career, Feriod started in 71 of 72 contests and tallied 12 goals and 17 assists for 41 points. She will compete in the NFHCA Senior All-Star Game Sunday, Nov. 22, at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Mass., at 9:30 a.m.
William Paterson finished the season 9-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
