William Paterson University Athletics

Former Pioneer Danny Lynch will serve as William Paterson’s undergraduate assistant coach during the 2010-11 season.

Lynch posted finishes of second in the 400 IM B Final (4:31.15) and second in the 200 fly C Final (2:09.79) at the 2010 Metropolitan Championships. The Rockaway, N.Y., native also helped the Pioneers place ninth in the 800 free relay (7:23.51) at Mets.

A transfer from Roger Williams University, Lynch finished ninth in the 1,650 free (17:53.73), sixth in the 400 IM B Final (4:31.72) and third in the 200 fly C Final (2:10.64) as a sophomore at the 2008 Metropolitan Championships, all while helping to lead the Pioneers to an eighth-place finish in the 800 free relay (7:43.11).

Lynch is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at William Paterson.
