Tunde Agboke begins his first season as a William Paterson assistant coach, working with the linebackers. He also is responsible for the program’s recruiting efforts in Warren County, as well as a portion of Essex and Bergen Counties.
Agboke transferred to Southeast Missouri State University after redshirting at the University of Kentucky in 2002, and in three seasons (2003-05) he compiled 114 tackles, two fumble recoveries, two passes-broken-up and one fumble forced. A two-year team captain and a recipient of the 2005 Ohio Valley Conference Medal of Honor for academic excellence, he was a 2005 and 2006 Dean’s List student.
Agboke, who earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Southeast Missouri in 2006, has worked in the PR field at Solutions from the Heart (2008-09) and Rubenstein Communications (2007-08). He is a native of Houston, Texas.
