Oscar Sabillon returns to the William Paterson campus in 2008 as a first-year assistant coach, working with the Pioneers as a defensive assistant.
Sabillon, who attended WP from 1986-88, most recently conducted a series of youth camps that featured professional players for nine years. His other athletics experiences include serving as the head track and field and football coach at Pinellas County (Fla.) School District and as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of South Florida. He helped lead GORC Youth Football to three county titles as an assistant coach, accumulating just two totals losses in three years, worked as a track and field official at the University of Florida, and was a member of the Suncoast Official Football Association. Sabillon, who also pursued studies at St. Petersburg College, resides in Elmwood Park.
