A three-time all-conference selection, former linebacker Jared Burke will serve as a student manager for the Pioneers during the 2010 season.

A second-team all-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) selection as both a sophomore and junior, and a first-team honoree as a senior, Burke started in nine games in 2009 and compiled 45 tackles (16 solo, 5.0 TFL), two pass break-ups, a fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles (0.22 per game, tied-seventh in NJAC). During his career (2006-09), he posted 230 tackles (126 solo, 28.5 TFL), three fumbles forced and recovered, three blocked kicks and an interception while starting in 30 of 35 games.

A native of Egg Harbor Twp., N.J., Burke is completing a bachelor’s degree in sociology at William Paterson.
