Women's Swimming and Diving Stands in Ninth After Day Two of NJAC Championship

COLLEGE PARK, MD. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team sits in ninth place, collecting 108 points to conclude day two of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship.

TOP PERFORMERS:
  • The quartet of junior Samantha Pricken (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley), sophomore Sarah Gomez (Paterson, N.J./Passaic County Tech), senior Hailey Krajewski (Clifton, N.J./DePaul Catholic) and graduate student Rose Vail (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) clocked a time of 4:14.54 in the 400 medley relay for a 10th-place finish.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
  • The 4:14.54 finish in the 400 medley relay was a season best.
  • During the 50-free preliminary round Vail (26.36), freshman Sarah Filipowicz (Hewitt, N.J./West Milford) (33.29) and senior Skylar Mancini (Toms River, N.J./Toms River East) (38.87) posted personal bests.

UP NEXT:
  • William Paterson returns to the University of Maryland Natatorium for day three of the NJAC Championship Saturday, Feb. 17, with session one beginning at 9:30 a.m. and session two at 5:30 p.m.
